Eric Thiermann is a filmmaker who founded the production company IMPACT in the late 1970s. After a film MFA at UCLA he taught film writing and production, and has made documentary, narrative, VR and advocacy work in more than 40 countries. His credits include an Oscar nomination in 1984 for a documentary short and work as cinematographer on an Oscar-winning documentary short in 1987.
